For me weblogs are a creative and visual experience. In the past when I was bring text into the art class it was boring and flat; even some of the so called websites are nothing more than text and pictures on a screen. A weblog can have videos, text, even your own voice.
The weblog for me as a teacher is a place that students can go for further information on the artist, technique or place they are learning in the class. It allows the student to revisit the information on what went on in class, even a chance to interact to questions and reflect. Since art is visual this is a great vehicle or tool to facilitate artwork they create and view. Overall I enjoy the purpose of the weblog, I just hope I can translate it and create it.
